Company Policies
The following are the polices that all WDI Science personnel (including inspectors and staff) must adhere to. Failure to follow these policies in most cases violates state law and can lead to disciplinary action or removal from the company. For inspectors, removal from the company will mean that they can no longer perform WDI inspections until they are transferred into another pest control company (state law).
Follow TDA Rules
All WDI Science personnel must follow all state laws regarding WDI inspections set forth in the Texas Administrative Code. https://statutes.capitol.texas.gov/Docs/OC/htm/OC.1951.htm
Use only Swarm Form to Produce Reports
Swarm Form is the only approved software to produce T-5 reports. No other method (not even filling out the T-5 by hand) is acceptable. This protects all parties working with and for WDI Science.
No Clear Reports from Treatment Paperwork
Treatment paperwork from any treatment company is not sufficient information for WDI Science personnel to produce a clear report (a report that has no recommendation for preventative or corrective treatment). The only way to write a clear report is to perform a full WDI inspection where no conducive conditions and signs of previous activity are observed, and no recommendations for any kind of treatment are made.
Use the Stickers that WS Provides
The stickers found in the inspectors swarm form account are the only ones available and approved for use by WDI Science personnel. No alterations to the imagery or data on the sticker can be made to ensure compliance with state laws. They must be produced in a size no smaller than 2 inches high by 2 and 5/8 inches wide. See our Stickers page for printing instructions. If you find incorrect information on your sticker please stop use and contact your CA or RCA immediately.
Be Positive and Supportive
All WDI Science personnel will be positive and supportive with all staff and inspectors. This is a safe work environment that is dedicated to the improvement of the WDI inspection industry and prosperity of WDI Science personnel.
No Re-inspections
Texas state law says that a full WDI inspection in accordance with Texas Department of Agriculture rules shall be performed every time a T-5 report is produced. Therefore, no amendments or alterations may be made to a report and no partial inspections may be done for any purpose.
